32 billion riyals of the Omani gross domestic product at current prices

Muscat, January 28 / The gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices of the Sultanate of Oman increased by 30.4% to reach 32 billion Omani riyals until the end of last September, compared to the same period in 2021, according to the Oman News Agency.
The “Quarterly National Accounts Indicators” report issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information attributed this increase to the increase in the growth rate of oil activities until the end of September 2022 at current prices by 72.5% compared to the same period in 2021, which is the highest among economic activities, in addition to the increase in oil activities. The rate of growth in manufacturing activities, achieving 65.6% during the same period.
The report indicated that the gross domestic product (GDP) at constant prices of the Sultanate of Oman until the end of September 2022 recorded an increase of 4.5% to reach 26 billion Omani riyals, compared to the same period in 2021, and this is mainly due to the growth of oil activities until the end of September 2022. 12% at constant prices, which is considered the highest among economic activities, in addition to the high growth rate of service activities by 5%.
