The inspection, monitoring and certification team of the Saudi Energy Efficiency Program conducted inspection tours in various parts of the Kingdom during the period from April to August. It reached 80 thermal insulation factories, delivered 28957 recycling insulation products and closed 22 production lines.
The number of factories corresponding to 23 factories, while the number of factories did not match 24 factories, out of 47 factories were withdrawn samples, and 22 lines were closed among the specialized production lines thermal insulation of 53 lines.
The total number of samples withdrawn was 94 samples, of which 54 samples were identical, while 39 samples did not match the specifications of the thermal insulation materials, as well as one sample which is still under the procedure. The targeted heat insulation materials included “expanded and extruded polystyrene”, “rocky” Polyurethane foam.
