Abu Dhabi Sports: Al Ain is ready to host the Argentine Super Cup next Friday

Abu Dhabi, January 17 / The Abu Dhabi Sports Council announced the completion of preparations for the establishment of the Argentine Super Cup for the first time in the Emirates, and outside Argentina as well, as it will be held at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, next Friday.
The capital, Abu Dhabi, will host the Argentine Super Cup, between the two teams, Boca Juniors, the league champion, and the Racing Club, the cup champion.
The establishment of the Argentine Super Cup comes under a cooperation agreement between the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Argentine Football Association, which extends for four years, in support of Abu Dhabi’s partnership plans with international sports institutions and bodies, and as an extension to attracting elite international sporting events, and working to host historical football sporting events in Abu Dhabi. .
The two teams arrived yesterday, “Monday”, at Al Ain Airport in preparation for the upcoming match, and the Boca Juniors team is training at Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Stadium, while the Racing Club is conducting its training at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium.
The main and official training that precedes the match will take place one day at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium. Hazza Stadium will also host the press conference for the match, which brings together the coaches and captains of the two teams, next Thursday, corresponding to January 19, at 04:30 pm Emirates time in the press conference hall.
Suhail Al-Arifi, Executive Director of the Sports Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, confirmed in statements to the Emirates News Agency / WAM / that all preparations for the match, which will be held in its first edition outside Argentina, and in the UAE as well, have been completed.
He added: “We welcome everyone in Abu Dhabi, and we hope that the match will come out in a way that reflects its importance, as well as the image of Abu Dhabi in organizing the largest and most important events and various sports tournaments at all levels.”
Al-Arifi explained that the match comes at a special time, after the Argentine national team won the World Cup for the third time in its history and a period of absence, which means that the focus will be on Argentine football more during the current period, as the match is expected to witness a large international follow-up.
