Saudi Arabia Invests in Space

Not long ago, Saudi Arabia was the talk of the world with Mishaal Ashemimry being the first Saudi aerospace engineer and the first Saudi woman and Gulf woman to work for the NASA space agency. In addition, she is a 20-year-old woman who owns a company that produces spacecraft in the state of Florida, and is looking to make vehicles that travels up to the moon to collect samples and bring them to Earth for research.

” Mishaal Ashemimry ” is a living example of the reality we are living, a reality that confirms Saudi Arabia’s determination to invest in space and the ability of its youth to lead this investment. There are more like “Mashael” who have the scientific ability to push this trend to the summits, working with Saudi hands and start the march of investment in space.

Saudi Arabia continues its march in progress and development, and some believe that every day there are more surprises in the process of renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom, which was reflected in the economic and technological transformations led by King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, vision of Saudi Arabia 2030, and the declaration of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman The project “Neom” and other pilot projects, as well as many of the economic transformations witnessed by the Kingdom in this period.

This is not strange about Saudi Arabia, and the specialists in the outlook for the future have long predicted this, and confirmed it when the features of change began to appear strongly since years ago, where economic change began to move the path of rapid progress, and technological development every day offers what is new. The Kingdom is a model in keeping up with the rapid development, but it is advancing many developed countries in steps and in many fields.

Indeed, it is not surprising that Saudi Arabia is all that is happening, and not surprisingly the sons of Salman who recorded their space initiative in 1985, when Prince Sultan bin Salman ascended into space and landed on the moon to become the first Arab astronaut, his passion towards space and work in its fields.

Today, Saudi Arabia is proceeding according to clear time plans and projects that serve Saudi Arabia and its neighboring countries, where the achievement is clear, both in the near-term and long-term projects, which all contribute to the vision of the Kingdom 2030. The Saudi economy is moving to the level of the major economic countries, especially after its success in establishing a fertile investment environment for investors, and this confirms its success in attracting space investment and making it part of the overall economic development process achieved by the Kingdom.
