Long live Egypt

In the Arabian Gulf region and the Arabian Peninsula, we have a proverb that says, “Everyone brings the coals closer to his bread.” The interpretation of this proverb is when few Bedouin meet in the desert and make their bread, which is a loaf of bread under the heat of the embers. Each person brings the coals closer to his bread in order to ensure that his dinner is cooked. This proverb actually denounces those who stir the coals on the grounds of selfishness and urges concerted efforts to unite the ranks. It is only natural that Arab governments are now intensifying their efforts to attract global investment towards the opportunities they have created to develop these countries and enhance their economic status. I believe that the UAE is the best example for attracting foreign investments, especially to the Emirate of Dubai, which enhances the UAE’s economic position and supports its continuous growth. In this era, we are witnessing huge steps by sister countries in the field of attracting international investments towards the Arab world, such as the development of the Qatari economy, the modern economic systems in the Sultanate of Oman, and the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the region in pumping funds to give the Saudi and Gulf citizen more opportunities to compete in investment opportunities in the promising Saudi market. Although the Gulf countries are bringing coals closer to their bread, and competing to strengthen their already strong economies, the investment opportunities in Egypt remain a priority for the Gulf countries, especially the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The power of Egypt is the power of the Arabs.

And by following the economic programs that the Egyptian Ministry of Economy is working on to attract global investments to “Umm al-Dunya”, we find that it has worked to classify the investment opportunities that actually exist in Egypt through the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones website, and through internet pages supported by an interactive map, the investor can locate investment opportunities On the map of Egypt and the parties that can be dealt with to move forward in taking advantage of these opportunities. It is also grateful in this website to identify sectors according to classification, such as the construction and real estate sector, which contains 104 promising investment opportunities, and the agricultural and land reclamation sector, which includes 79 investment opportunities in an Arab country that God endowed with a great river and the people of my father are characterized by perseverance and hard work. Although I was surprised by the lack of investment opportunities in the spinning and weaving sector, we are the ones who sing of Egyptian cotton and are proud that it “speaks Arabic”. 17 investment opportunities in the spinning and weaving sector are considered very few in a country the size of Egypt. Although most of these opportunities are textile workshops for girls, Egypt has a volume of investment opportunities in this field that is much greater than the textile workshops for girls.

Although there are many investment opportunities in Egypt, the foreign investment compass has not yet turned to Egypt. Yes, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are the most believers in Egypt’s promising economy, but the Egyptian media must accelerate marketing quickly and focus on targeting the Arab investor to take advantage of those opportunities that will benefit the Egyptian citizen and his Arab brothers. In the past few years, global investment in China has dwindled due to the Corona pandemic. The perfect alternative is undoubtedly Egypt. Egypt is the heart of the world geographically, and it has all the ingredients to take the place of the Chinese factory, and it has the best soldiers of God. It is not enough just to raise slogans and say, Long live Egypt, without working together to strengthen Egypt’s economy. Yes, we will always stick to the Covenant. Our slogan is Long Live Egypt and Long Live Arab Unity. I learned from Zayed Al-Khair the love of Egypt. I am convinced that if the Arab countries unite economically, it will benefit the citizen and the Arab world. To the Egyptians we say, Long live Egypt, and from Abu Dhabi we say, Long live my country, long live the union of our emirates.
