Ahmed bin Salman: Brotherly relations are well established between the UAE and Bahrain

Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, held an official session of talks with Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the House of Representatives in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, yesterday, at the Council’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, during which coordination and consultation took place to unify visions and positions on various issues of priority and common concern. .

Saqr Ghobash affirmed the depth of the strong brotherly relations between the UAE and brotherly Bahrain, as they are well-established historical relations, and are characterized by their special character, which made them a model for relations between brotherly Arab countries.

Saqr Ghobash affirmed the extent of compatibility in the visions and directions between the two brotherly countries on many issues of common concern on the regional and international arenas, and praised the role and efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its parliament in supporting the joint Arab action process, and serving its issues and future directions, during their period of presidency of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union. He also stressed the importance of activating the memorandum of understanding and cooperation signed between the two councils, with the aim of launching this joint parliamentary cooperation towards a broader horizon, in a way that supports the course and goals of the Gulf Cooperation Council, especially in light of the developments and challenges the world and the region are witnessing.

For his part, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam praised the well-established fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE, which have been consolidated over decades. He also extended an official invitation to Saqr Ghobash to attend the meetings of the Parliamentary Union that will be held in Bahrain next March.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Executive Director of the Martyrs’ Families Affairs Office, received Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, at Wahat Al-Karama.

Upon his arrival, he reviewed, with Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, the honor guard ceremony, then laid a wreath in front of the Martyr’s Monument, which consists of 31 panels, each leaning on the other, as a symbol of unity, solidarity and solidarity between the UAE leadership, its people and its heroic soldiers.

He also toured the various pavilions of the oasis, listening to a detailed explanation from Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan about the oasis and its facilities.

At the end of the tour, the Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament recorded a speech in the visitors’ book expressing his appreciation for the martyrs of the United Arab Emirates.
