ADNOC awards contracts worth 21.8 billion dirhams in 2022 to increase production capacity

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced today the award of a contract worth 3.6 billion dirhams ($980 million), through ADNOC Offshore Company, to ADNOC Drilling, to lease two drilling rigs, an operating team and equipment necessary to complete drilling operations. This contract supports ADNOC’s goal of increasing production capacity to meet the increasing global demand for low-emission oil and gas resources.

With the award of this contract, the value of the agreements concluded by ADNOC Offshore and its strategic partners with ADNOC Drilling with the aim of increasing the value of offshore oil and gas resources in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during 2022 amounted to 21.84 billion dirhams.
