ADNOC Refining completes the first phase of the waste heat recovery project

ADNOC Refining, the joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Italy’s Eni and Austria’s OMV, is preparing to complete the first phase of a waste heat recovery project at the public utility unit in Ruwais.

The waste heat recovery project, launched in 2018, at a cost of 2.2 billion dirhams ($600 million), aims to reuse the waste heat generated by the public utility unit in Ruwais to add about 230 megawatts of electricity per day, enough to supply hundreds of thousands of homes. electrocuted;

This project will also produce about 62,400 cubic meters of distilled water per day.
