Dubai Land Department has launched the “Real Estate Lawyer” initiative to facilitate the real estate sector and enhance regional and international investment opportunities in Dubai.
The department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PSA Law Firm to provide an innovative framework that will enhance transparency and simplify transaction procedures for investors in the sector.
Through the “Real Estate Lawyer” initiative, the department will provide several investment solutions to remove the restrictions imposed by the current property laws, allowing the promotion of real estate investments in Dubai and facilitate the purchase and sale of real estate by foreign-owned companies and thus open the market to more corporate investors.
Sultan Butti Bin Mujrin, Director General of Dubai Land Department, said: “We at Dubai Land Department seek to support our wise leadership guidance and strategies to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world. We are also working to strengthen the emirate’s real estate sector through these partnerships that ensure quick and easy regulatory and investment procedures.
Dr. Ahmed Bin Hazeem, Senior Partner of PSA, said that the main objective of the Real Estate Lawyer Initiative is to enhance the openness of the Dubai real estate market to more investors to increase investment flows. Simplifying the procedures for capital investment in the Emirate will attract a wide range of investors and transactions.
He expressed his delight to cooperate again with the Dubai Land Department to support the efforts made over 20 years to support the investment interests of clients in the real estate sector in Dubai, as the investment framework provided by the initiative revolves around simplifying procedures for customers in the first place.
