Saudi Aramco signs contract to build two drilling islands at China Harper Engineering

Saudi Aramco has sent a contract to build two drilling islands under the company’s program to increase production in the field of land, to China Harbor Engineering Arab, and the objective of this program to increase production in the wild to reach an additional 250 thousand barrels per day of Arab crude oil from the field of oil in the wild To reach 500 thousand barrels per day early 2023, in order to maintain the maximum production capacity fixed for Saudi Aramco.
The contract was signed in the Saudi city of Dhahran, signed on behalf of Saudi Aramco, Vice President of Project Management Fahad Al Hilal, and signed by China Harbor Engineering Arab General Manager Wu Yuanxing.
The program includes the installation of a new oil gas screening plant on Abu Ali Island and additional gas treatment facilities at the Kharsaniyah Gas Plant to process 40,000 barrels of hydrocarbon condensate associated with the increase in crude oil production in the land.
Under the contract, two offshore drilling islands will be built on the northern and southern sides of the King Fahad Industrial Port in Jubail to support the production islands in the Al Bari field. The drilling site referred to on Site A and B will extend on a total area of ​​616,553 square meters, And 263,855 square meters, respectively.
