Gasoline prices are down 35% from the peak of July… and fall below 3 dirhams

Fuel prices in the UAE for the month of October witnessed a decline for the third month in a row, albeit at a slower pace than the previous month. A liter of gasoline decreased by about 35% compared to the peak recorded in July. Gasoline prices fell below the level of 3 dirhams for private and “E Plus”, after dropping a level above 4 dirhams in all categories, last September.

While a liter of gasoline decreased by about 38 fils in October, compared to September, and about 1.6 dirhams compared to the peak prices in July, the decline of a liter of diesel reached a full dirham at 3.76 dirhams in October, compared to 4.76 dirhams last July.
