Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced the participation of 102 Chinese companies in the 21st edition of WETEX 2019, organized by DEWA from 21 to 23 October 2019 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center. The Dubai Solar Energy Exhibition, which coincides with WETEX, is the region’s largest renewable and sustainable energy technology exhibition and will be held under the umbrella of the sixth edition of the Green Week.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of DEWA, founder and president of WETEX, said he was delighted to be able to participate in the exhibition, especially by Chinese companies.
Al Tayer added that the Authority is cooperating with many Chinese institutions and companies in the fields of energy, where several major Chinese companies participate in the projects of the Authority and the Chinese participation in the “Witex” is very important as China is the largest investor in the world in renewable energy.
