Sharjah, February 19: The Sharjah Expo Center discussed with the Etisalat Services Holding Company ways to enhance cooperation to advance the exhibitions and conferences sector, exchange views and experiences, and develop joint work to enhance the center’s efforts in terms of achieving the optimal investment of information and communication technology solutions and capabilities and digital technologies to provide the best services to exhibitors and visitors.
This came during the coordination meeting that was held recently at the Sharjah Expo Center between His Excellency Saif Muhammad Al Midfa, CEO of the Sharjah Expo Center, and His Excellency Muammar Al Rukhaimi, CEO of Etisalat Services Holding Company, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides. During the meeting, the importance of working to strengthen the role of the communications industry and technology was discussed. Information in supporting the exhibition sector, as well as reviewing the agenda of events and exhibitions that Expo Sharjah intends to organize during the coming period.
His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa said that the meeting comes within the framework of the Sharjah Expo Center’s keenness to strengthen partnership and exchange experiences with various parties with the aim of developing the exhibition industry in the Emirate of Sharjah and enhancing its competitiveness and continuous advancement to maintain its position as one of the most important cities that lead this industry in the region, stressing the keenness of Expo Sharjah is developing its technological infrastructure by adopting highly efficient and quality systems in order to enhance its ability to organize and host major local, regional and international events.
His Excellency Al Midfa praised the efforts of Etisalat Services Holding Company and the innovative services it provides in the field of facilities management and digital communication solutions, pointing out that the meeting formed an important platform to enhance cooperation and joint work between the two sides to serve the Center’s efforts to keep abreast of developments in the information technology sector by adopting the latest innovations. The best smart solutions and advanced digital services that help meet the aspirations of the center’s employees and exhibitors alike.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa presented a commemorative shield to the visiting delegation, which in turn praised the pioneering organizational and technical practices of the Sharjah Expo Center, which enables it to organize a large number of specialized local, regional and international exhibitions, most notably the Middle East Watch and Jewelry Exhibition and the Steel Fab Exhibition.
