INJAZ, in partnership with the Canadian Embassy in Amman, the Canadian Office of International Education and the University of Rayerson, Canada, launched a project to support economic opportunities for women in Jordan, funded by the Canadian government, aimed at promoting women’s role in economic development. He added that the program will achieve positive results on the ground for its implementation with Injaz, which has a track record in teaching leadership and leadership skills for women.
On the other hand, INJAZ Executive Director Dima Al-Baybi emphasized the importance of the partnership between the Foundation, the Canadian Embassy, ​​the Canadian Office for International Education, and the University of Rairson, Canada, in order to benefit Jordanian youth and give them the opportunity to become active members of their society and contribute to the development of the national economy. To achieve it.
The project will focus on developing and enhancing the skills of volunteers and trainers within INJAZ programs implemented in schools, universities, colleges and youth centers to change the stereotypical image of the role of women in the Jordanian economy, as well as examples of success stories for Jordanian entrepreneurs who have made a positive difference in their lives To encourage girls in schools and universities to enter the world of entrepreneurship. A women’s business incubator will be established in Jordan to help entrepreneurs establish their businesses and start-ups through mentors and mentors with experience in establishing entrepreneurship Congenital.

The third axis will include the launch of a national campaign to support the role of women in the Jordanian labor market, where seminars will be held between various public and private institutions and civil society institutions to analyze the reality and challenges of women’s work in Jordan. With the private sector to implement them. The campaign includes honoring institutions and companies that adopt standards and recommendations in their work environment. The campaign works with various sectors to support women leaders to reach decision-making positions.

The three axes aim to reduce the challenges facing women in the labor market and enable them to establish their own project and enhance their opportunities in the labor market, which is reflected in the promotion of their role in society and economic development.
