Union of Chambers of “Gulf Cooperation” reviews the draft budget estimate for 2019

The 44th Meeting of the Executive Leadership Committee of the GCC Chambers of Commerce was held at the headquarters of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the United Arab Emirates. The meeting was chaired by HE Hamid Mohammed Bin Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the United Arab Emirates. The Secretary General of the Federation of GCC Chambers reviewed the draft agenda of the meeting, which included the ratification of the minutes of the 43rd meeting of the Executive Leaders Committee and the Follow-up Report, the results of the consultative meeting between the Ministers of Commerce and Industry and the presidents and members of the GCC Chambers and Chambers. , The draft estimated budget for 2019. and the executive regulations of the ITU sectoral committees. The participants commended the efforts exerted by the General Secretariat of the Union in following up the implementation of decisions and issues related to the Gulf private sector.
The meeting stressed the importance of cooperation between the GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry, GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry, GCC General Secretariat and GCC Customs Union, discussing the challenges facing the GCC private sector and developing appropriate solutions to serve the sector and achieve economic integration of GCC countries and development. And the role of the Union in the next phase will focus on launching initiatives and preparing economic studies that will strengthen the private sector in various fields, especially innovation, electronic services and artificial intelligence.
