Sharjah Department of Economic Development (DED) is part of the UAE delegation to the second meeting of the working group tasked with promoting cooperation in the fields of industry, investment and innovation between the UAE and the Russian Federation.
A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Industry, which is organized by the Ministry of Energy and Industry, will comprise various local and federal authorities with the participation of a number of officials, businessmen and investment companies.
The program of the visit includes meetings with a number of ministers and officials to discuss ways of cooperation in the economic and trade fields between the two countries, discuss opportunities and challenges, exchange of information on the most important sectors targeted for development and opportunities for establishing partnerships that serve the development goals between the two parties.
His Excellency Sultan Abdullah bin Hedda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department, said that the Department aims to promote the UAE in general and Sharjah in particular in the international markets and highlight the investments owned by the emirate as well as the competitive environment.
For her part, Maryam Nasser Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of the Industrial Affairs Department at the Economic Development Department in Sharjah, thanked the Ministry of Energy and Industry for its role in facilitating such international partnerships, which contribute to enhancing the joint work between the various government agencies in the country.
