The Minister of Industry and Trade, Eng. Yarub al-Qudah, decided on Monday to cancel the decision to determine the price ceilings for fresh chicken and bananas.
“The cancellation of the decision to determine the price ceilings for chickens came because of the low prices in the local markets,” said ministry spokesman Yannal al-Bermawi.
The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply set price ceilings for fresh chicken mid-last year by 180 piasters for producers and suppliers of the market and dinarin and for consumption, 145 piasters for live chickens sold through netvat for distributors and producers and 160 piasters continued to the consumer.ش
