The Committee decided to reduce the price of gasoline octane 90 by five fils / liter to become 760 fils per liter instead of 765 fils / liter, and gasoline octane 95 by 15 fils per liter to 985 fils instead of 1000 fils per liter, and reduce the price Diesel fuel by five fils to 560 fils per liter instead of 565 fils.
The Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee also decided to fix the price of kerosene for the month of March at 520 fils per liter, and fix the price of gas cylinder at 7 dinars, noting that the world price amounted to about 8.63 dinars.
According to a statement issued by the committee, the decision comes from the government to alleviate the lower income groups and in line with local economic conditions.
The monthly price included the sale of natural gas to the industries (continued land factory), which amounted to 7.4 dinars per million British thermal units for the month of October next, was set the price of sale of natural gas produced from the field Risha at 3.9 dinars per million British thermal units.
