Jordan: 38% increase in the area of ​​non-residential buildings in the first third of this year

According to Jordan’s statistics department, the area of ​​buildings licensed for residential purposes during the first third of 2018 accounted for 72% of the total area of ​​licensed buildings, while the area of ​​buildings licensed for non-residential purposes constituted 27% of the total area of ​​licensed buildings.
The area of ​​buildings licensed for residential purposes during the first third of this year reached 3576 thousand square meters, compared to 3553 thousand m2 during the same period of 2017, an increase of less than 1%, while the area of ​​buildings licensed for non-residential purposes during the first third of In 2018 about 1332 thousand square meters, compared to 963 thousand square meters during the same period of 2017, an increase of 38%.
