Japanese stocks rise in morning trading

Japanese stocks rose during the morning trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The benchmark Nikkei index rose 142.76 points, or 0.71 percent, to 20306.16 points, while the broader Topix index rose 0.31 percent, or 4.79 points, to close the morning session at Level of 1526.80 points.
