Smoking electronic cigarettes can cause allergic reactions, disruption of the work of the liver, kidneys, heart, and emotional disturbances as well, according to “Russia Today”.
Dr. Arseny Rusanov from the “Invitro-Privolzhye” clinic points out that the effect of electronic cigarettes, unlike traditional cigarettes, on the endocrine and reproductive system has not been fully studied so far. However, it is known that the liquids used in electronic cigarettes contain aromatic additives, glycerin, the organic compound diacetyl, nicotine and propylene glycol, and when inhaling the vapor, heavy metal ions such as nickel, tin and others enter the body.
