His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, in his office at the Emirate’s Court today, reviewed the annual report of the Eastern Chamber of the past year, submitted by the President of the Chamber, Abdul Hakim Al Khalidi, and members of the Board of Directors.
His Highness praised the wise guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve them – which resulted in qualitative leaps in international indicators for ease of doing business, and enabled the private sector to participate actively in development, indicating that hopes are still high, Aspirations are high, as the private sector is a key partner in achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, and it is one of the pillars of comprehensive development, and part of strengthening the economy’s durability and improving the business environment.
His Highness stressed the importance of working on programs, support and development of small and medium enterprises, studying the governorates’ needs for the business sector, and working on programs to develop entrepreneurial projects and women’s empowerment programs in the business sector, and to ensure projects that are compatible with the goals of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, wishing His Highness the Board of Directors success in Achieving the aspirations of associates.
For his part, Al-Khalidi, on his behalf and the name of the members of the Board of Directors and employees of the Chamber, thanked and appreciated the Prince of the Eastern Region for his unlimited support for the Chamber’s activities, programs and initiatives, which contributed to the Chamber’s achievement of many successes, and the launch of a number of initiatives, indicating the importance of the industrial and commercial sector in The economic and developmental movement witnessed by the Kingdom in light of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
