Gulf Air and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport have signed an agreement under which the airline will start implementing its flights scheduling to Ras Al Khaimah on October 03, with two weekly flights to the emirate, with the possibility of these operations continuing throughout the year between Manama and Ras Al Khaimah airports to link the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah with Bahrain and other regional and international destinations on the network. The agreement was signed at Gulf Air’s main headquarters in Muharraq, Bahrain, in the presence of Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, and His Excellency Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Air, and Captain Waleed Al Alawi, Acting President Gulf Air CEO, Mr. Atanasios Tetonis, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Mr. Raki Phillip, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, and a number of members of the executive management of both companies.
