As part of its efforts to promote the values of giving, generosity, and compassion in the Emirates, the Emirates Foundation continues to spread happiness among the targeted and deserving groups of society, by extending its “Eid Joy” initiative to celebrate Eid Al-Adha.
The initiative was recently organized in Adrenarch Adventure in the Canal District in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the “Make a Wish” Foundation, with the aim of fulfilling the wishes of seven children suffering from chronic diseases, as they spent enjoyable times with their family members and participated in a number of interactive activities.
The event witnessed the participation of 15 volunteers from the “Takatof” program of the “Emirates Foundation”, who were keen to implement the initiative in an optimal manner, and to ensure that it provided a distinguished, enjoyable and unforgettable experience for children and their families.

Muhanna Al Muhairi, Chief Operating Officer of the Emirates Foundation, said: “We were keen to organize a fun day for the children, who came as guests of honor at the largest indoor destination for adventures in the region, Adrenarch Adventure. This initiative is part of the Emirates Foundation’s continuous endeavors to enhance the quality of life of individuals and contribute effectively to social development in the UAE.
He added: “These young people endure a number of chronic health problems, so giving them a day of joy and fun was important to raise their spirits, and here I commend the role of the “Make a Wish” Foundation and the hosting destination, “Adrenarch Adventure”, in drawing a smile on the children’s faces and making this initiative a success. Wonderful humanity.
Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the “Make a Wish” Foundation, said: “In these blessed days, we extend our thanks and appreciation to those in charge of the Emirates Foundation for their efforts to involve our children with chronic diseases in the “Eid Joy” initiative, fulfill their wishes and bring happiness and optimism to their hearts. their families”.
He added, “These initiatives spread hope in the hearts of sick children, as they give them the opportunity to feel the joy of Eid with their brothers and family members, and provide them with courage and strength to fight the disease and continue the path of treatment, looking forward to recovery and a return to normal life.”
And the Emirates Foundation previously organized the “Eid Joy” initiative on Eid Al-Fitr 2023 for needy families, as it distributed more than 5,000 pieces of clothing after ironing and perfuming them. The Foundation will continue to implement the initiative twice a year during Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha, with the aim of making a positive difference in the lives of Various segments of society through cooperation with the concerned authorities and institutions.
