UAE and Qatar decide to restore diplomatic representation

Based on the Al-Ula Agreement, and out of keenness from the two countries to strengthen bilateral relations, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar announce the re-establishment of diplomatic representation between them, by resuming their work today, Monday, June 19, 2023, between the UAE embassy in Doha and the embassy of the State of Qatar in Abu Dhabi and its consulate in Dubai. .
The two sides affirm that this step comes as an embodiment of the will of the leaderships of the two countries, and in consolidation of the march of joint Arab action, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
