Etihad Airways has launched its 787-9 Dreamliner to Lagos this morning on its first flight from Abu Dhabi.
Flight EY673 was launched from Abu Dhabi International Airport at 2:35 am and arrived at 7:10 local time.
The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, a two-tier system, has 299 seats, including 28 in business class and 271 in economy class.
Robin Kamark, Chief Commercial Officer, said that upgrading our services with the Dreamliner on the Abu Dhabi-Lagos line is helping to enhance guests’ experience and meet the growing demand for business and leisure trips to and from Nigeria’s largest city.
He added that Etihad Airways aims to provide the highest levels of hospitality and advanced technological services to all our guests to enjoy a unique travel experience.
Etihad Airways’ operations in Lagos commenced in July 2012 and achieved good results with strong demand on both lines continuing in both directions.
