Saudi Telecom publishes evidence on the regulatory framework for cloud computing

The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) today announced the publication of evidence for the Kingdom’s cloud computing regulatory framework, which includes a cloud computing service guide for individual customers, businesses and private entities, as well as a special directory for cloud service providers. Through the website of the Commission.The evidence is intended to provide participants, individuals, business and government entities with the basic concepts of cloud computing services, provide examples and information on the provisions and benefits of the regulatory framework, clarify the registration procedures and requirements, A special guide for cloud computing providers can be found on the TRA website for those interested.
The CITC issued the regulatory framework for cloud computing on 20/5/1439 AH after studying and evaluating the experiences of other countries and taking public statements. The regulatory framework comes into effect on 20/6/1439 AH (30 days) from a public bulletin.
