The World Bank: The UAE economy is the fastest to fully recover from the pandemic 4.7% expected growth in 2022

Issam Abu Suleiman, Regional Director for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries at the World Bank, said that the United Arab Emirates has strengthened its position as one of the fastest economies in restoring pre-Covid-19 levels in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. Emirates News Agency “WAM” – The UAE led the countries of the world thanks to the successful vaccination program during the past year, in addition to monetary and financial incentive packages, noting that all these factors contributed to accelerating the return to pre-pandemic levels.
