The World Bank announced that it will provide an additional $530 million to support Ukraine, bringing the total assistance provided by the Bank to $13 billion since the start of the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
The bank said in a statement that the aid is supported by Britain, which will provide 500 million dollars, and Denmark, which will provide 30 million dollars.
The bank added that so far, $11 billion has been fully disbursed of the total $13 billion in aid to Ukraine.
The latest World Bank analysis estimates the total long-term cost of reconstruction and recovery in Ukraine over the next three years at more than $100 billion, said Arup Banerjee, World Bank Regional Director for Eastern Europe.
