“Gulf Cooperation” stresses the importance of completing the requirements of the customs union to achieve economic integration

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, stressed the importance of the great role of the Gulf Customs Union Authority in achieving Gulf integration in the economic fields, by completing the requirements for establishing a customs union.

This came during Al-Hajraf’s reception to the head and members of the Customs Union Authority on the occasion of their first meeting at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, where he noted the great support given by the leaders of the GCC countries to the work of the Customs Union Authority and activating its role and granting it full powers to perform its tasks in accordance with the decisions of the Riyadh Summit in the 42nd session of the Supreme Council held On December 14, 2021.
