The Yemeni government, chaired by Prime Minister Moin Abdulmalik, discussed today the general framework of the state budget for 2019.
The meeting discussed, according to Yemen News Agency, the efforts and mechanisms of preparing the general budget of the State for the current year 2019 and the date of completion and approval of the official, reviewing its ceilings and the indicative figures presented.
The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Finance to absorb the necessary needs of the local authorities in the various provinces of the country and strengthen the decentralized tendencies in the state administration, within the new budget, stressing the importance of taking into account the budget of 2019, the most essential requirements to improve the educational, service and health aspects and build state institutions professionally and thoughtful.
He stressed the need to raise the efficiency of the supervisory role of finance, to local institutions, and the development of resources and control of spending, in parallel with the decentralized approach in the management of the state.
