Jordanian Income Invites Taxpayers to submit income tax returns electronically for 2017

Media In / Agencies / Amman 26 March 2018
The Jordanian Income and Sales Tax Department has invited taxpayers to submit their income tax returns for 2017 electronically and to take into account the fact that they are filled with factual and correct information that reflects their real income for their business activities last year.
It said in a statement issued Sunday that the delay in payment of the amounts due to the taxpayer, including in the tax declaration of the legal date, will set them a fine of 4 per thousand for each week of delay or any part thereof.
The Taxation Department requested that the information on their economic activities be accompanied by a tax return in 2017.
Taxpayers who have not yet participated in the income tax and electronic sales services have invited the initiative to subscribe to it by obtaining a user name and password from the nearest department or through the service centers of the department to enable them to submit the declarations electronically and obtain a number of other services without having to bother to review the department .
