Saudi Arabia: The last batch of imported wheat this year reaches 495 thousand tons

The Saudi General Establishment for Cereals (495) thousand tons of hard wheat, which was the fifth and final installment of wheat imported this year.

This payment comes to cover the local needs and maintain the strategic reserve of wheat, which came from the origins of the European Union, Australia, South America and North America (except Canada).

During the period (January – March 2019), the fifth installment will be delivered by (8) vessels, distributed over 4 vessels to the Jeddah Islamic Port with a quantity of 245 thousand tons and three vessels for King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam with a quantity of 195 thousand tons. , And the number of (1) vessel to the port of Jazan quantity (55) thousand tons.
