President Sisi endorses the law on allowances and pensions

– Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi announced on Saturday a law to grant an exceptional allowance to state employees and employees of 10 percent of the basic wage.
The minimum amount of the periodic bonus payable is 65 pounds per month (about 3.6 dollars)
The law provides for an increase of pensions of 15 percent, provided that the minimum pension for the insured or the pensioner in accordance with the social insurance laws is 750 pounds per month (about 41.6 dollars), including all increases and subsidies
The increases will apply from July 1, according to the law.
