Dubai, on January 5, the day after tomorrow, Saturday, the final qualifiers for the Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Holy Quran Competition in its twenty-third session will start, and will continue until January 12, at the headquarters of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award in Al-Mamzar for the male branch, and at the headquarters of the Women’s Renaissance Association for the female branch.

Counselor Ibrahim Muhammad Bu Melha, Advisor to His Highness the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Award, said that two arbitration committees have been formed to conduct the final exams. Aref Anas Bilal Al-Shehhi, Sheikh Ahmed Muhammad Taha Al-Kammar, and Sheikh Muhammad Yusuf Mahmoud Salah.

He added that the female committee is chaired by Mona Hassan Al-Marzouqi, and the membership is Zainab Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Al-Amin, Wadha Jamaan Karama, Fatima Ahmed Dhu Al-Nourin, Yusriya Hassan Ahmed Green, and Asma Abdul Rahman Abdullah Qutb.

Bu Melha praised the great effort and distinguished work carried out by the Competitions Unit through its communication with the Holy Quran memorization centers in the country, and the great effort of the nomination authorities and the Holy Quran memorization centers at the state level and their care and distinguished interest in preparing memorizers and qualifying them to participate in Quranic competitions.

He added that the contestants nominated for the competition numbered 48 males and 54 females, through the 6 branches of the competition, where 10 males and 11 females were able to qualify for the final competition in the first branch, which is memorizing the Holy Qur’an in its entirety, while the second branch / 20 / parts 9 males and 13 females qualified for it, and the third branch / 10/ parts qualified for 12 males and 15 females.

He stated that the fourth branch / 5/ parts for citizens, in which 6 males and 8 females qualified, and the fifth branch / 5 / parts for residents who do not exceed 10 years of age, in which 5 males and 5 females qualified, then the sixth branch, which is branch / 3 / parts for citizens who Their ages do not exceed 10 years, 6 males and 2 females qualify for it.

For his part, Mohammed Ali Al-Hammadi, Director of Human Resources and Information Technology, Head of the Competitions Unit at the Award, explained that the competition dates for the male and female branches start daily from four o’clock in the afternoon at the competition headquarters.
