Saudi Arabia: Opening of the longest water bridge in the Kingdom

The Saudi Red Sea Development Company announced the opening of the “Shura Bridge”, which connects the mainland with Shura Island, the main island in the Red Sea destination.

The Shura Bridge is the longest water bridge in Saudi Arabia, with a length of 3.3 km, and it will contribute to accelerating the pace of construction operations for resorts on the island.

The bridge connects the west coast with Shura Island, where 11 out of 16 hotels are being developed in the first phase next year.

Shura Island in the Red Sea is one of the 92 islands in the project site, and is characterized by its shape resembling a “dolphin” from the top, and the beauty of its coral reefs.
