Saudi Arabia: Housing and Justice Launched Online Rental Network

During the press conference held today at the headquarters of the media center at the Saudi Press Agency in Riyadh, the ministries of “Housing and Justice” launched today, in cooperation with a number of government agencies, “Rent Network,” which provides many electronic services to the parties of the leasing process, And with all real estate brokers in all the cities of the Kingdom to document the lease contract of the unit in the electronic network of rental services, which is the contract adopted as an executive bond.
The Minister of Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hawqail, said in a speech during the press conference that this network is one of the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Housing to regulate the real estate sector, including the rental sector, stressing that the ministry has developed during the past years many plans to regulate the sector in full,
The Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samani said in a similar speech that the “unified lease” will be reflected positively on the justice sector as it will significantly reduce the flow of cases related to this sector to the courts, as this contract is an executive grant to the right holder to apply directly to the Court of Execution in the proceedings And the right to return the right in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers No. (292) dated 16/5/1438 e, and therefore the need to file a lawsuit and its consideration by the competent court, which will save efforts and ensure the speedy return of rights to owners, The Ministry of Justice is represented by the enforcement committee T preparations to receive such requests.
In turn, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah bin Amer Al Sawahah, in partnership with various government agencies in the launch of the program “rent”, and emphasize the role of the Ministry to move forward in the process of digital transformation in the Kingdom.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Housing’s launch of this digital program serves many segments and different sectors of the beneficiaries of individuals and business, especially as this program is an important and effective tool in maintaining the rights and interests of all parties to rental contracts in light of the program provides balance and confidence in the rental sector By taking into account the rights of all parties to the contractual process and in full electronic form.
In turn, the CEO of the National Housing Company, Eng. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati, stressed that there are many benefits to the rental network, the most important of which is to contribute to the preservation of rights and reduce the flow of rental issues in the courts and contribute to raising domestic output and stimulating investment in the sector.
