The Saudi Electricity Company for the development of projects started operation of the main Zulfi power station, 380/132/33 kV, which was established according to the latest international standards, at a total cost of 499 million riyals.
The station aims to further enhance the reliability and safety of electrical service in a number of cities and villages in the central region, as well as improve efforts in Zulfi and ease the load from the central station Sudair.
It is worth mentioning that the station was established with the participation of national cadres and within the framework of the policy of supporting local manufacturers in the field of electric power industry, and is operated by Saudi cadres trained by engineers and technicians, under the direction of the company to settle the electrical functions in the Kingdom.
