The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia clarified the details of the sound of the explosion that occurred in the capital, Riyadh, and said in a statement that it was caused by an explosion of a gas cylinder in a restaurant.
The Directorate of Civil Defense published a statement on its official page on Twitter, which was accompanied by several photos explaining the details of what happened, as its cadres in the capital, Riyadh, dealt with a momentary eruption in a restaurant in the Naseem neighborhood – according to what was published by the newspaper “Sabq”.
It indicated that the accident resulted in the injury of two people, who were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary medical care.
The Civil Defense explained the proper behavior to be followed in the event of a gas leak, stressing the need not to use electrical switches and lighters.
He pointed out the necessity of removing all people from the place, and closing the gas valve tightly, pointing out that the windows and doors must be opened slowly in order to ventilate the place.
