National Transport Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Electricity Company, today received two best technology proposals and the best proposal in the occupational safety and health category of the 2019 Arab Ideas Competition organized by the Dubai Quality Group.
The two awards came from two creative ideas, the first of which was to identify the leakage of a 380 kV oil cable, which will increase the efficiency of the work and achieve more savings.
The three employees of the company who won the first category award include: Abdullah Othman Bin Shuweil, Engineer Amer Abdullah Al Ghamdi and Saeed Al Hilali, of Jeddah Asset Maintenance Department, Maintenance Sector of Gharbia and Transport Network respectively.
The second idea is the installation of the separation and conduction switches on the “mosaic control” of a transformer station, presented by Javed Akhtar, Salama Al-Hweiti, Muttab Al-Hweiti, Yousef Al-Hweiti, Basem Al-Hweiti and Mohammed Al-Balawi.
Saudi Electricity has been awarded the award for the third year in a row, and this year’s competition was among 20 projects submitted for the award in this category: “The idea that improves the methods and processes used in manufacturing, engineering, management or by designing a new computer / software application “
