Saudi Arabia and China sign the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Chinese President Xi Jinping, and an official session of talks was held between the two sides, during which they exchanged views on ways to consolidate and develop partnership relations. The comprehensive strategy between the Kingdom and China, and all international and regional issues of common interest.
The two sides expressed their satisfaction with the distinguished stages that bilateral relations have gone through during the past three decades, and stressed the importance of continuing joint work in all fields, deepening relations within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, and bringing them to new and promising horizons.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between the Kingdom and the People’s Republic of China.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuing to give priority to Saudi-Chinese relations in their foreign relations, and to set a model of cooperation, solidarity, mutual benefit and common gain for developing countries. The Kingdom in the field of national development within the framework of Vision 2030.
The Saudi side reaffirmed commitment to the one-China principle.
For its part, the Chinese side expressed its support for the Kingdom in preserving its security and stability, and affirmed its firm opposition to any actions that would interfere in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and rejected any attacks targeting civilians, civilian facilities, lands and Saudi interests.
