Etisalat participated in a summit of telecom leaders organized by the Samina Communications Council which brought together leaders and industry change makers from more than 29 countries to achieve effective partnerships between the public and private sectors and enhance cooperation in the region’s ICT industry. , And to identify opportunities and challenges that will accompany the launch of the fifth generation network.

Etisalat was the first in the region to launch the fifth generation network in the middle of last year, after having passed several different trials that began in early 2014.
