This is a project that is being carried out in cooperation between Halken and Rheinmetall Orly Krone in Switzerland and Italy. Development is underway on the missile system and its launch platforms, so that the platform is loaded with 60 missiles.” It can intercept 20 targets, and this project will enter service in 2026.

In turn, Khamis Rashid Al-Kaabi, Research and Development Engineer of the “Etimad” Industrial Company, said: “We specialize in manufacturing unmanned aircraft that are used for training purposes, simulating danger and various uses, and we are presenting 3 new aircraft, including an electric BA 06 aircraft, and many aircraft that are used for training and simulation.” It is being manufactured by Emirati cadres.

He stated that the company is continuing to develop drones that have a speed ranging from 280 to 350 kilometers per hour and at different altitudes ranging from 15 to 20 thousand feet.

On the other hand, national and international companies, during their participation in the activities of the seventh session of the Defense and Maritime Security Exhibition “NAVDEX 2023”, reviewed the latest technological systems for defense and combat in the maritime field, including a ship that includes 10 combat capabilities, in addition to machine guns, and a combat boat that contains systems Designed to prevent water from flowing into the interior in the event of any collision or scratching the frame, and its structure is bulletproof, as bullets cannot penetrate it. The “Edge” group participates in a combat ship called “BR71 MK ll”, which is 71 meters long, and is characterized by its strength and development, especially in coastal defense operations against land and air threats, and it is also capable of carrying out a wide range of reconnaissance missions thanks to its speed, strength and sophistication.

The ship can carry out all coastal patrol and reconnaissance operations, detect marine mines, helicopter operations, and maritime interception operations, in addition to carrying out support missions for friendly forces. surveillance and reconnaissance, and military uses in ground and air warfare.

The ship includes 10 combat capabilities, including: a 76 mm frontal machine gun, two 20 mm side machine guns, surface-to-air and surface-to-surface missile systems, communications systems and radar systems to support electronic warfare, as well as a radar fire control system, and a 3D radar. The ship has four diesel engines and four water jet engines, forming a propulsion system capable of missions of up to 15 days at a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
