The Union of Arab Banks, in cooperation with the Banking Supervision Committee, will organize the 4th Annual Meeting of Risk Management in Arab Banks on July 4 and 5 in Beirut, Lebanon.
The forum will be attended by a number of leading international experts. Marc Farag and Mr. Mr. Neil Esho, Secretary General of the Basel Committee, Mr. Rabea Nima, Director of the Banking Supervision Committee, experts from the Dubai Supervisory Authority for Global Institutions (DFSA), the Central Bank of Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain and Oman. Experts from PWC Global Auditing, Hansuke in England, Refinitiv in Dubai and RiskMatrix in Cyprus.
The Forum will discuss the future of Basel III following the final amendments made by the Basel Committee to the standard credit risk approach that paves the way for what is known as the Basel IV decisions and the difficulties facing our Arab banks in applying IFRS 9, operational risks and technological innovations, digital transformation and financial stability, Which is of interest at present.
