STC has signed agreements with major international companies to promote local content. The signed agreements include an agreement to set up a Saudi fiber optic plant in partnership, as well as networking agreements for Emiratisation programs to support small and medium enterprises and contribute to creating an innovative environment.
The agreements reflect the company’s commitment to enhance local content and increase Emiratisation according to Rawafed’s program to promote local content. The objective of the program is to focus on Emiratization, develop the small and medium enterprise sector, focus on innovation and local industries, Where plans were made to increase the Saudization rate in the leadership and technical positions from 20% to 65% with the major partners at the beginning of the program, which is at an accelerated pace exceeded the targets set.
