Power outages for more than 350,000 subscribers in Michigan, USA, due to severe thunderstorms

Severe thunderstorms swept through southern Michigan and northwest Ohio on Monday, leaving hundreds of thousands of homes without power and killing three people, Russia Today reported.

Among the dead was an 11-year-old boy who was swept away by sewage as the storm system extended into Arkansas.

More than 381,000 customers in Michigan were without power on Tuesday, after thunderstorms with speeds of up to 70 miles per hour, mlive reported.
