Pakistan receives 15 additional air shipments of relief aid from the UAE

The Pakistani Minister of Information, Maryam Aurangzeb, said that 15 additional air shipments of relief aid from the UAE are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan in the coming days.

And the Associated Press of Pakistan reported that the minister indicated earlier today, on Twitter, that the date of the arrival of the first shipment of relief aid from the UAE to Noor Khan Air Base is four thirty in the evening, Sunday, local time.

She said that the first shipment from the UAE for those affected by the floods was sent in response to the appeal of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to the UAE authorities in the wake of devastating floods in the country.

She added that the aid includes tents, food, medicine and other items.
