Al Ain City Municipality organized a walking activity on Khalid Bin Al Waleed Street, as part of its initiatives, through which it seeks to consolidate positive and healthy practices in the various municipality facilities.
Municipality employees, government agencies in Al Ain, school students and parents participated in the event, as well as the Abu Dhabi Police Band.
Saeed Al Jabri, Head of the Facilities Development and Community Events Section, said that the walking event received a great response from the community when it was announced. He thanked the Integrated Transport Center and Al Ain Police for their support and efforts in making this event a success.
He pointed out that Khaled bin Al-Waleed Street is a sustainable destination for practicing sports at all times, as the necessary means have been provided to serve users of the side walks of the street, including cosmetic plants, allocating places for walking and a path for bicycles.
