Today, Wednesday, Dr. Rumaih bin Muhammad Al-Rumaih, Deputy Minister of Transport, and Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Battal, Undersecretary of the Emirate of the Eastern Province, inaugurated the third session of the Saudi Maritime Conference, with local, regional and international participation from 50 companies representing more than 30 countries, specialists in maritime transport sciences and services, and major International companies and shipping lines.
On the sidelines of the conference, investment agreements were signed to establish 5 promising logistical zones in Jeddah Islamic Port, with an investment value of approximately 2 billion riyals, and to provide 6,000 direct and indirect job opportunities in the first phase, in an integrated partnership with local and international companies.
