Merchandise trade exchanges between the UAE and the United States of America achieved strong growth during 2022, by 20.6%, to reach 101.8 billion dirhams ($27.7 billion), compared to 84.5 billion dirhams ($23 billion) in 2021, according to the statistics of the American Statistics Center.

The UAE’s exports to the United States reached an all-time high of 25.3 billion dirhams ($6.9 billion), while the UAE’s imports from the United States recorded their highest level since 2016.
The total value of the UAE’s exports to the United States during 2022 jumped by 16% to reach 25.35 billion dirhams, compared to about 21.85 billion dirhams for the year 2021. The UAE’s imports from the United States amounted to about 76.53 billion dirhams in 2022, compared to about 62.6 billion dirhams. dirhams for the year 2021, with a growth of 22.2%.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries during the month of December 2022 amounted to about 9.54 billion dirhams, a growth of 6.7%, compared to 8.9 billion dirhams in December 2021.
